What should I expect?
We know it’s not easy to walk into a new church for the first time. Whether you’ve never gone to church or you’ve followed Jesus for many years, you are welcome here.
This is a place where you can “come as you are” to find opportunities to learn the Word and build relationships with other like-minded believers.
What is the worship experience like?
Our conviction is that our worship gatherings will be characterized by a style that intentionally incorporates the best of what is available to us from among both the treasured traditions handed down through the history of the Church, and newer, modern expressions of worship.
What should I wear?
Wear what you like. We lean to casual, but modest. What matters to God and to us is that you are here.
What about the offering plate?
We currently have offering boxes at each of the entries. You may also give online. As regular members of our church, we give joyfully in worship and gratitude to God to support the ongoing work of the church.
What does Mount Olivet believe?
We are a congregation of the Church of the United Brethren in Christ, the first denomination formed on American soil. Read our Confession of Faith.
Pastor Stan and Chrissy offer a 4 week class called Next Steps. This class allows you to get to know them better, learn the history of Mount Olivet, gain a greater perspective of what Mount Olivet believes and our vision. If you are a new Christian, or just simply never had solid guidance in your Christian walk, this class also helps to define what Christianity is and what it looks like individually and as a part of the body of Christ.
What else?
If you are visiting with us, please stop by the Connection's Center and fill out a Connect Card. You may drop it in an offering box at the conclusion of the service. This is also available online! We would love to get to know you!

In a nutshell, our church follows Jesus by loving Jesus and loving others. We invite you to learn more about the many ways we do this by going to the "Church Center App" and browsing the opportunities there. We hope to see you soon.
